About Us
Established in 2021, U&I Optical, is a family-owned business, that prides itself in providing
professional eye care services to all. All our optometrists are qualified. Our retail outlet is ultra-
modern, and well equipped. U&I Optical offers an extensive range of eye-care services from
personalized comprehensive eye exams, optical frames, sunglasses and contact lens services.
Our purpose at U & I Optical is to make the purchasing of glasses and eye-care easier, more enjoyable, and affordable.

Our Products/Services

FRAMES – Our frames are of the highest quality and are purchased from Europe, America and
China. We stock both branded and unbranded frames which are comfortable and of the latest
fashion trends.
OPTICAL LENS – We provide high quality optical lenses to all our patients. We supply,
depending on the patient’s requirement – single vision, bifocal, or progressive lenses. The lenses
can be supplied with anti-reflective, hydrophobic, and scratch resistant coatings and can be with
or without transitions. We also supply specialized RX lenses, on order basis.

CONTACT LENS – Our customers health comes first. Our Optometrist take the utmost care
when carrying out the contact lens test and ensure the correct lenses and proper training is given
to guarantee long term contact lens use. It is important to us that we provide contact lenses that
are manufactured to the highest standards using the latest technology. Depending on the client’s
requirement we can supply daily, bi-weekly, monthly or yearly replacement lenses.
VISION SCREENING – We provide vision screenings in communities/schools/companies.
The purpose of our vision screenings is to identify the number of individuals in need of care who
eventually receive comprehensive eye exams and the necessary treatment.

What our screening does:
 Identifies persons at high risk for eye disease or in need of a professional eye
examination by conducting screening tests.
 May detect disorders in an early, treatable stage.
 Provides the public with valuable information and education about eye care.
 May result in a referral to an eye care professional or primary care provider.
What our screening does not do:
 Diagnose a vision disorder.
 Lead to a treatment plan.

SUNGLASSES – We carry a large variety of high-quality sunglasses from various designer
brands. Sunglasses are a fashion statement and integral to the health of your eyes. UV light from
the sun can have a damaging effect on our eyes. All our sunglasses have high quality UV
protection incorporated into the lenses. We are also able to supply prescription sunglasses with
single vision, bi-focal, and varifocal lenses. You can also choose from tinted, graduated,
mirrored, or polarized lenses.

REPAIRS – We provide repairs for your glasses, whether you broke them in half or just lost a
nose pad, etc. Some damages require professional repairs, like broken metal frames or shattered
lenses, we ensure they be restored with care and precision.
